Oluwaseunfunmi J. Omidiji

THE AUTHOR OF HOW TO LOVE MY SIBLINGS

God brought my siblings and I to the World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation (WLIF) in 2019, six years ago. At that time, the leadership meetings were held in person every first Saturday of the month. However, from 2021 up until now, the meetings have continued online via Zoom, offering a rich experience of learning and the ability to practice the skills we learn. Around the age of 16, Coach Charles Awodu inspired me to write a book. “How to Love My Siblings,” my very first book, was published in April 2023, with the help of God, my family, and partners of the team. My life has been richly blessed by the opportunities at WLIF. I have had to coach a session, give talks at Book fairs, on camera, and to the mentees on Zoom. I have even started a T-shirt design business. These experiences and opportunities have built my confidence in public speaking, communication, business, and leadership. “How to Love My Siblings” is a story about love and friendship, which flourishes as a foundation for success. I am now in college, leading study groups, attending book fairs, and excelling based on the knowledge gained from WLIF. I keep in touch with my wonderful friends at the Foundation because we share real-life experiences and support each other’s growth. Thank you, WLIF, an army of great leaders. I love you. Keep rising strong.

Excel Awodu

The AUTHOR OF FRIENDSHIP AND FORGIVENESS

My name is Excel Awodu, and I am 10 years old. I have been attending the Young Leaders Summit since its inception in 2018.  The organized program has made me learn a lot. A few among many things I learned is that you have to be careful of how you spend money because reckless spending will make you poor.

We are trained to help clean up, save money at home by switching off lights when not in use, and not waste resources. I also learned that when you are angry, don’t let it get in your way, take a deep breath, count 1-10, and walk away from the scene if possible.

I have built confidence to make good presentations and contribute to the discussion in school, at the children’s church, and on social media, sharing leadership thoughts. I learned I should not say Yes when I mean to say No.

I have won leadership awards in school using the skills learned from our mentoring program, and became a published author at age 8. My book was adopted for a read on Friendship Day by a top Massachusetts school. I have been invited to speak at various organizations, including the NAACP, Brockton chapter. WLIF has given me the boldness to set up a babysitting program to help take good care of toddlers.

Nathan Anuwe

The AUTHOR OF LOVE FOR BASKETBALL

I started attending World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation programs when I was just 7 years old in 2018, not knowing that it would one day lead me to write a book. With the support of my family and the WLIF community, I was able to begin and complete my writing journey.

In 2023, I finished my book, Love for Basketball—a story meant to inspire others to enjoy the game and pursue any sport they love. It also gave me a chance to express my passion for basketball.

I am truly grateful to everyone who helped me reach this point. Thank you, WLIF, for believing in me and encouraging me to share my story. To everyone reading this: keep working hard, and never stop believing in your dreams.

Peculiar Awodu

THE AUTHOR OF GET INVOLVED

I have participated in the World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation (WLIF) since 2018. The World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation has helped me become a responsible leader, where I am at home, school, camp, and in church. The lessons learned provided an opportunity for me to write my first book at 12 years old! WLIF taught me a lot of values about being strong, caring about others, and helping out in my community.

I have had the chance to mentor younger kids and speak at different events, which has improved my public speaking and made me a better leader. Writing my book was an awesome experience with the opportunity to share my story and encourage others to get involved in their communities and become leaders. I am thankful for the support from WLIF, my family, and friends.

 Mary Folorunsho

AUTHOR OF LOLA THE BULLIED GIRL

My name is Mary. I am 14 years old and currently a 9th grader. I am the author of Lola the Bullied Girl. Writing a book was never my plan, but I’ve always loved writing and creating stories. My journey began when I attended leadership programs with the World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation. These programs inspired and set me on the path to publishing my book. The first step was brainstorming my plot, which could be easy some days and challenging on others. Drawing from real-life experiences or reading different kinds of books – whether nonfiction or fantasy – helped me develop ideas.

Next came writing, which was a process of drafting, deleting, and revising. Writing takes a lot of time and patience, but every step is worth it. After completing my draft, I sent it to an editor who polished it into its final form. Throughout this journey, I received so much support and encouragement, which made the process even more rewarding. Writing Lola the Bullied Girl has been an incredible experience. To anyone with a dream of writing, remember: it is possible, and with continued effort and support, you can achieve anything.

Gold Wetana Oginni

THE AUTHOR OF RETURNING TO MY ORIGIN

The World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation has had a profoundly positive influence in my life. I attended the Young Leaders Summit in May 2021 for the first time at my dad’s instruction. Every month since then, I have always looked forward to the next edition of the online summit.

I have equally been given the privilege to share a thought as the guest speaker at one of the Summits. Having a platform to learn and share with a wide audience the knowledge I have gained over time has formed part of the indices for my growth, and I am very grateful. The foundation freely sponsored the distribution of my book – Returning to My Origin – to school libraries in my community, a project that I am so passionate about and for which I shall remain grateful. Knowledge is power!

Raymond Rejoice

THE AUTHOR OF THE LIBRARY LESSON: REJOICE’S JOURNEY TO HUMILITY AND FRIENDSHIP

To the Esteemed World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation and Mr. Charles Awodu,

Growing up in Hope at Last Orphanage, I never imagined I would one day become an author. But through your unwavering support, guidance, and belief in me, that dream became a reality.

WLIF taught me more than leadership; it taught me character, humility, and purpose. Under Mr. Charles Awodu’s mentorship, I learned that true leadership is about service and uplifting others.

Your encouragement inspired my first book, The Library Lesson: Rejoice’s Journey to Humility and Friendship, a story shaped by the values I gained through your programs. It reflects not only my journey as a writer, but my transformation as a person.

Thank you, Mr. Awodu and the entire WLIF team, for nurturing my voice and helping me believe in my potential. I’m also deeply grateful to the management of Hope at Last Orphanage for being the bridge to this life-changing experience.

Joy Adeleke

THE AUTHOR OF THE POWER OF DETERMINATION: DOOCY’S JOURNEY TO SUCCESS.

I am deeply honored to express my heartfelt gratitude to the World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation (WLIF) for the profound impact it has had on my personal growth and leadership journey. Becoming the author of The Power of Determination: Doocy’s Journey to Success was more than a dream fulfilled; it was the result of years of guidance, encouragement, and empowerment through this remarkable foundation.

Under the leadership of Mr. Charles Awodu, I was taught the core principles of effective leadership and challenged to embrace my potential with clarity and confidence. His unwavering mentorship helped me develop the courage to lead with purpose and authenticity, leaving a lasting mark on my life.

My book tells the story of Doocy, a young girl who overcomes academic struggles through determination and resilience, an experience that mirrors my journey and everything WLIF instilled in me. It stands as a testament to the belief that with focus, courage, and the right support system, no goal is out of reach. The values of perseverance, leadership, and inspiration embedded in my book are a direct reflection of WLIF’s mission. I remain forever grateful to Mr. Charles Awodu and the entire organization for helping shape not just my story, but my purpose.

A special thank you also goes to the management of Hope At Last Orphanage for their exceptional care and continued support. You were the bridge that connected me to this life-changing journey, and for that, I am sincerely thankful.

Karris Ezeh

AUTHOR OF THE COURAGE TO CARE

My Journey to Becoming an Author
My name is Karris, and I am a 15-year-old author. I wrote the children’s book The Courage to Care. Becoming an author was not my initial plan; writing was simply a way to express my feelings and share what matters most to me.

That changed when Mr. Awodu recognized my gift and encouraged me to take writing more seriously. My true journey as an author began at the World Leadership and Inspiration Foundation (WLIF) where I developed leadership skills that directly inspired the message behind The Courage to Care.

The lessons I learned at the foundation became part of my daily life and naturally shaped the plot of my book. WLIF did not just inspire the story; it supported me through the most challenging parts of the process. When I faced writer’s block, Mr. Awodu was committed to helping me overcome it. He invested time and energy into nurturing my gift and helping me stay the course.

The journey to becoming an author has been filled with challenges, but I would not trade it for anything. Without the support of the WLIF and my parents, I would not have come this far. I’m proud of how much I have grown and even more excited about what is ahead.

Temisan Ofoarami

AUTHOR OF PAPARIA

My name is Temisan Ofoarami, and I am the author and illustrator of the manga Paparia. I am also a proud member of the World Leadership and Inspiration Foundation (WLIF), a community that has made a meaningful impact on my personal growth.

WLIF introduces members to essential values and life principles that help them become better individuals, positively contributing to our communities, and choosing the right path to avoid trouble.

The foundation also publishes a monthly magazine, The Goldfield Digest, which shares inspiring backstories of individuals who have made remarkable achievements. One thing I truly admire about this community is its commitment to encouraging self-reflection, growth, and transformation. It reminds us that it is never too late to learn from our mistakes and become better people.

Through the guidance and support of WLIF and with encouragement from my family, I was able to publish my first graphic novel on Amazon, a major milestone in my creative journey. I am deeply grateful for the support that helped bring this dream to life.

Adaobi Eke

FOUNDER OF CODEKIDS CONNECT

Through the World Leadership Association Foundation, I have equipped myself with the tools needed to become a strong leader in society. With the support of my family, I founded a youth-led organization ( CodeKids Connect ), where young adults volunteer to teach others in grades 4 to 7 how to code. This initiative stemmed from a problem I observed in my community: there were limited and very few free educational programs for children. I took it upon myself to create a platform where kids can learn coding through fun and interactive games, while volunteers become part of a vibrant and supportive community.

I do not have small dreams for CodeKids Connect. I truly believe this program has the potential to become the next Girls Who Code. My vision is to grow this youth-led organization into a foundation where students can learn, innovate, and build a strong, supportive community. With your support—whether by spreading the word, signing up as a volunteer, or joining as a student—you can help expand this mission and reach more young minds around the world.

Our mission is to provide a free and accessible resource for young students from underrepresented communities in STEM, giving them the chance to explore the world of computer science. With the help of the World Leadership and Inspirational Foundation (WLIF) my parents, and God, I have begun this incredible journey.
