Mentees and volunteers practiced CPR, AED use, and first aid together in a hands-on life safety training session.
WLIF brought mentees and volunteers together for a hands-on CPR and First Aid life safety training session. Participants worked with training manikins, practiced chest compressions, and learned how to use an AED trainer.
An instructor walked the group through each skill, with a demonstration on screen and time to practice on the floor. Younger participants and older youth trained side by side, taking turns on infant, child, and adult manikins.

Life safety is part of how WLIF prepares young people to lead. As a licensed American Red Cross training provider, the Foundation uses sessions like this to build practical skills participants can carry into their families and communities.
